Yari Charges APC Women on Unity, Mobilisation Ahead of 2027 Elections
Senator Abdul’Aziz Abubakar Yari, Director-General of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council, has called on women leaders and supporters of the party to remain united and intensify mobilisation efforts ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Yari made the call on Monday while addressing APC women at the one-day Women Stakeholders Mobilisation and Empowerment Pre-Inaugural Summit, convened by the First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, at the Bola Ahmed Tinubu International Conference Centre (BATICC), Abuja.
The APC chieftain acknowledged the significant leadership role being played by women across the party and urged them to remain committed to strengthening the party’s political structure and supporting its programmes.
He stressed the need for unity, coordinated action and loyalty among party members, noting that a united political movement would be critical to achieving the APC’s objectives ahead of the 2027 elections.
Yari said the APC leadership was committed to supporting women and other members of the party, while urging stakeholders to complement such efforts through sustained mobilisation and grassroots engagement.
According to him, the women must work together and remain focused on the collective interest of the party, encapsulating the message in the phrase: “One vote, one movement, one choice.”
He also commended the large turnout of women leaders and supporters at the summit, describing their participation as a demonstration of their commitment to the APC and its political objectives.
Yari urged the women to sustain the momentum, strengthen cooperation and intensify mobilisation across the country as the party advances its activities ahead of the 2027 general elections.
